Hello, I’m back.

So quick update. I found a job in two weeks after HR abruptly notified me that they were not going to continue my contract. And yes, I did get a raise from the last job. Some may question my ethics when it comes to interview skills but I did it. I aced the interview and well, its now my second week of work. P.s I immediately started my new job right after I left my previous company and honestly I feel much happier here.

My boss, Dot, is a nice lady and well colleagues are really nice and friendly too. My colleagues are mostly older than me so they are kind of like elder sisters to me. Although some of them (basically everyone in my department except the manager) are leaving the company cause management here used to be really messy.

BUT. Things are about to take a turn because our parent company is taking over this firm so hopefully the management will be much better. I got a rude shock when I entered the office cause it was quite cluttered but since we are moving to HQ, I’m pretty sure the office there would look better. I heard there’s a gym there too so damn I really need that.

Guess what? I got a ruder shock when they told me I wasn’t allowed to take leave during the lunar new year period or else I won’t be entitled to their CNY variable bonus. WTF? The girls just booked a trip to Bali in Jan about 2 weeks before CNY so I hope my boss doesn’t except me from the bonus. I HOPE. At most I’ll forfeit it I guess (heard it was a month’s worth of salary wor).

Work has also been quite alright. Basically my job scope is a bit more hands-on than that rubbish job I had at PH. I get to be involved in events such as F1 and well its been quite alright. Tiring but it was a good experience. I heard that its going to get really fucking busy during Christmas and especially CNY so fingers crossed I survive.

Some part of me thinks I won’t stay here for long but I think this is a good place for me to learn some transferable skills for my career in future. So here goes nothing.

Update: WE ARE NOT MOVING TO WOODLANDS))))))): But on the bright side, I’ll still get my CNY bonus…just prorated 2 days I guess. meh.
