Riches.

When I was a child, my parents asked me and my siblings very interesting questions.

What kind of car do you want to drive? What kind of house do you want to live in?

I can’t remember what I said but I’ve come to realise that it doesn’t really matter tbh.

Maybe for someone with no goals, this is something to work towards. Then the question is, to what end? It’s nice to own a nice house and a nice car and to even impress people (I guess). But that shouldn’t be the end goal. Even when I meet people who drive fancy cars and big houses, I don’t necessarily get impressed?

Maybe the reason is that, for someone who doesn’t have a will to live, these things don’t matter to me at all. Instead, tell me about your family. Tell me about your childhood. Tell me your darkest fears. That interests me much more.

Perhaps I’m just looking for things to inspire me I guess.
