“How do you find this company so far?”

“I think I can retire here”.

“That’s plausible but you can also consider other paths and come back here OR I say give it 30 years tops and you can reach director level; that’s how it works around here”

Well it’s been two years here and ngl it has been the most wholesome experience working here ever. I can almost promise you that if I was still working in my previous company, I would be in a terrible terrible terrible state, so this was awfully nice. Fun fact the average age of the staff here is 47 years old HAHAHA All hail the land of the rising sun! JK

I do secretly think that my boss is enticing me to go explore other job opportunities out there in the market because of my multi-talented nature (jk) tsk I refuse to budge pfft.

Oddly enough, I don’t really pursue…anything anymore and I think I know why.

As much as I refuse to admit it, I do crave a stable family and with the state of things right now, it’s definitely not the case. This imbalance has thrown me off and I do struggle to keep things together but I do try.

Some good news though, S’s charges have been amended to culpable homicide so…that’s a small relief (I think). So far the hearings have been postponed for almost a year now; hopefully things start to pick up pace for his case soon. Going for visitations have been our bread and butter for the past year and ngl it’s still saddens me everytime I visit. Life goes on though.

Just got back from a short trip to Bangkok and it wow it was…hot??? My feet hurt from walking but I did get to enjoy massages everyday so yay. Things have gotten a little price-ier there and I did realize that I don’t really indulge in flee market shopping as much as I did in my teenage years. My taste became more expensive I suppose? Just like my taste for men HAHA

Managed to squeeze in a visit to a museum called The Ancient City and here are some of the sickening-ly beautiful shots 🙂

This made me laugh HAHAHA

That said, planned a CNY trip to Japan next year since Mother insisted that she doesn’t want to spend New Years here. That’s something to look forward to since it will be a winter trip with L tagging along (hopefully he manages to get his leave cleared). Tbh I hesitated to organize this trip because of L’s seeming unwillingness to travel because he’s “lazy” but Mother insisted so I sort of booked it anyway. I’m still considering if we should drive in the snowy weather there since all of us can drive; would be interesting though.

That’s all for now, goodnight and stay safe (:

“We’re not sad, we’re just not 21 anymore.”
